· All equipment, school or personal, must be transported in a case.
· Students may wear “civvies” during travel, but the full uniform must be worn properly (hats and gloves on with jackets zipped) during the parade block and half-time performance. We want to look and act as professional as possible. We will remove jackets and hats in the stands if the weather is warm. Note: the jacket is at NO time to be worn unzipped. Wear shorts underneath the uniform to keep from having to get completely undressed on the bus.
· No food or beverages may be brought onto the bus. You may want to bring money for snacks and drinks during the 3rd quarter break.
· Cell phones will not be allowed in the stadium. Leave them on the bus. Chaperones will confiscate them and return them to you in Houston.
· Students must travel to the game on the bus, but may ride home with a parent. All requests to ride home from the game with a parent must be submitted in writing no later than Thursday, October 23 by the end of the school day. Please include the student’s name, parent’s name and contact numbers on the letter. Each request will be verified by a director. Notification by e-mail of phone is unacceptable. If carpooling with several students, separate requests must be made from each student’s parents. Check-out after the performance must be made in person with student and parent present in the presence of a director near the buses at the conclusion of the game. Check-out will not be permitted at the stadium.
